The Association’s main objectives are to promote within Ireland the practice of conservation of historic and artistic material to internationally accepted standards; and to improve public awareness and understanding of the need for conservation.
Beyond the information found here on the website, our members provide professional advice and support to curators, architects or exhibition designers.
IPCRA members are involved in a vast range of disciplines in all areas of conservation, preservation, museums and heritage. As a network for spreading information about conservation in Ireland we are second to none.
You don't need to be a conservator to join; beyond our 150 full members, we also have associate, student and institutional members.
